Eco Windows FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions – Lift and Slide Systems

Due to their high glass  to frame ratio, sliding doors are the right choice.
They provide unbeatable outdoor area views and allow higher amounts of light to enter.
They are ideal for minimalist living and will also give any house a stylish touch.

Bi-fold doors are excellent if you want your doors to open up to a 90% aperture, but there is a higher frame to glass ratio. It really depends on your goals because sliding doors, on the other hand, offer less of an opening, but have a higher glass ratio, providing better view when closed.

Our sliding doors are available in a variety of configurations with 2,3 or 4 tracks and up to 6 sliding panels.

Our sliding doors, Bifold, Multislide and French Steel doors are efficient insulators thanks to their low U-values. You’ll stay warm and cozy in the summer thanks to them, and you might even see a drop in your heating costs.

The majority of sliding glass doors have two panels and are between 5 and 6 feet wide and 6.5 feet tall. However, there are sliding glass doors with three, to even six panels that can measure up to 20 feet wide and 12 feet tall each. These last ones are rapidly gaining popularity, and an increasing number of architects are creating homes that can accommodate these incredibly large sliding doors.

The overall security of the door is greatly influenced by the strength of aluminum itself.
Four-point locking, strong and durable door handles, and toughened or laminated safety glass are all included with our Eco sliding doors system. Every door is tested to make sure they comply to the most recent standards for door security.

Sure we can! With the vast majority of other aluminum or even uPVC systems, it is highly possible to get a matching aesthetic on your windows and sliding doors. We also provide joinery dedicated for certain systems, for example: post to join sliding door frame with window and also corner posts for almost seamless units joining.

The glass is the largest part of any door. Our doors include warm edge spacer bars, argon gas fill, soft-coat low-emissivity coating, toughened safety glass as standard. When choosing EcoWindows, sliding and folding doors are up to 25% more energy efficient than comparable sliding doors. Our sliding doors are superior to the top brands because they use Low U-Values.
